What have they been up to? Steph Catley

Next up in our 'what have they been up to?' series is the affable Aussie, Steph Catley. The versatile left-back cut a popular figure with fans across across her 35 appearances for the Pride.



Catley joined the Pride having amassed over 100 career league appearances across spells with the Melbourne Victory (twice), Melbourne City and the Portland Thorns. The Australian has also garnered 82 caps, scoring 3 goals for the Matildas. She has also turned out 17 times for the Australian youth teams


Catley's one and only goal for Orlando is arguably one of the club's most famous goals. Catley bagged the first ever Orlando Pride goal at her old stomping grounds, Providence Park.


Since leaving the Orlando Pride Catley's career has gone from strength to strength. She turned out 33 times for Reign FC across the 2018 and 2019 seasons. Before earning a move to Arsenal of the FAWSL in 2020. She has yet to turn out for the English game's most successful side, due to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic. But when she does, she's certain to be a hit with the Gunners.
